HAMBATAN GURU IPA SMP DI DAERAH PESISIR SUMENEP UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL

Abstract
Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi kondisi dan permasalahan
pembelajaran IPA SMP di daerah pesisir Sumenep ditinjau dari karakter kontekstulitas
pembelajaran. Eksplorasi dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan
diskusi kelompok terfokus, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik content analysis. Hasil
temuan yang didapatkan adalah adanya empat permasalahan mendasar bagi guru untuk
mengembangkan pembelajaran kontekstual yaitu: pembelajaran yang berorientasi buku
teks, pandangan guru bahwa melaksanakan pembelajaran kontekstual adalah sulit,
rendahnya pengembangan pengajaran karena kompetensi dasar yang bervariasi dan
kesulitasn guru untuk mendalami kultur siswa.
