PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING DISERTAI LKPD BERBASIS MULTIREPRESENTASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA TERHADAP SCIENTIFIC REASONING SKILLS SISWA SMP

Abstract
Scientific reasoning skills merupakan salah satu kemampuan berpikir yang menjadi tuntutan pada abad 21. Kemampuan tersebut diharapkan dapat diajarkan di kelas IPA, sebagai persiapan untuk siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mengkaji pengaruh dan peningkatan kemampuan scientific reasoning skills siswa menggunakan problem-based learning disertai LKPD berbasis multirepresentasi. Adapun jenis penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen quasi dengan desain non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control-group. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 7 Jember pada kelas 7 dengan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen masing-masing sejumlah 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran menggunakan model problem-based learning disertai LKPD berbasis multirepresentasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap scientific reasoning skills siswa. Scientific reasoning skills mengalami peningkatan setelah siswa mengikuti pembelajaran secara aktif.
